Woburn Public Library

How would you design an expansion of the Woburn Public Library by architect H. H. Richardson?  That's the question the Lorenz brothers (David & Jonathan) answered when they submitted this design in the Woburn Public Library competition.  Unfortunately, their design wasn't chosen as the winner, but Visbeen Associates is nonetheless proud of their design.

For Sale

The owners of the Ellsworth residence are relocating to the east coast and are looking for new owners for their beloved home.  I was just inside this elegant home on Thursday and it is inviting, immaculate and full of beautiful details.  Visbeen Associates designed this home and it was built by DeHaan Homes.  It is for sale through Keller Williams and you can contact Michele T. Brown for information at 616-575-0118.  The following is a description of the home:

Designed to blend a traditional-style floor plan with a contemporary lifestyle, this spacious design features a welcoming front-porch entry flanked by a formal dining room and library. Barrel-vaulted corridors lead from the formal living room to the more casual family spaces and bedrooms.  A private master suite with separate bath and closet allows for uninterrupted rest. The large gourmet kitchen includes a hearth room, home management center, butler’s pantry and offers direct access to the patio, screened porch and mudroom.  (Written by: Khristi Zimmeth, The Inside Story)

You're invited to a Beach Party!

Visbeen Associates, in collaboration with BDR and Grand Rapids Magazine, are proud to present the 2009 Grand Rapids Magazine Design Home.  This year all proceeds go to benefit Camp Blodgett.  This is our first Design Home on the lakeshore and, having just been there on Tuesday, I can promise it is really something to see!  Mary Buikema from BDR & Julie Holmes collaborated on the interior design and it's beautiful.  The Gala Event is Wednesday, May 13 and it is open to the public.  For more information email me at angela@visbeen.biz.  It would certainly be worth your while and we would love to tour you through the home.
